We last held a WWUK Carpet Day in March 2020 and the feedback from women was wonderful, affirming and deeply positive about the experience offered by the WWUK Facilitation Team.

Below is some feedback from our previous WWUK Carpet Days:

It was so, so lovely to connect with you on Sunday. The day turned out to be so much more powerful than I had imagined it would be. I think it’s directly because of this – i.e. because the circle felt safer than I had expected, and because the team of women as a whole worked so smoothly and connectedly together – that I ended up being drawn to work on something much deeper than I’d originally planned to bring to the carpet. – Sally

I got much more than I expected from the day and am honoured to have been support of women working on such an amazing day .I thought the day worked very well – silence and time to think between women doing their work was invaluable.It was a very safe supported space and all the FITs very caring and knowledgeable.  It’s over 20 years since I did my Woman Within Weekend, and I will always be grateful for the journey it has taken me on, and all the wonderful women I have met and connected with along the way. However, I wasn’t at all sure I would feel safe enough, or be able to go within to ‘do’ anything at the recent trainingweekend, but as soon as I sat in the gentle nurturing energy of a woman circle I felt myself beginning to trust and descend. The candle was lit, smudging and rattling took place with great honouring, then the silence, a reading, honest words spoken in the PIES check in, and the day began. Safety, sacredness, wisdom, compassion, understanding and nurture led the way all day as women did their work, so effectively led to their carpet processes by a team of women, you wouldn’t know were ‘in training’, under the wise guidance of Juliette. So – my journey continues, and my purpose in sharing these words with you is to encourage any woman who wonders whether the atmosphere and depth of a Woman Within Weekend can be repeated in a FIT training day, the answer is YES IT CAN. With my heartfelt gratitude and love to all the women who participated in the day. You’ve made my world a better place. – Hilary

I recently had the blessed opportunity to take the “me” time I so often forfeit for the sake of others and I took part in the FIT training weekend and WOW! Connection, truth, authenticity, clarity, trust, gentleness, safety, vulnerability, tears, joy, letting go and sharing. What a space to be in, surrounded by such open and caring women, supported and understood! It’s been almost 15 years since I did my weekend and I can honestly say my “piece”, my time, my moment, my work was equally if not more powerful than my Weekend. We are all so different yet the same! Thank you special woman. To anyone who feels the calling to take part in a FIT training weekend in the future, please give yourself the gift and do it. – Nadine
