An opportunity to do another piece of “carpet work”

Cast your mind back to your Weekend, on the Saturday, as you stepped onto the carpet and was guided through your ‘work’ by the Facilitation Team.

– The WWUK Facilitation Team invites you – 

We are offering you the opportunity to stand on the carpet again and explore what may be keeping you stuck, what messages you may want to shift, and how you would like your life to be different.

Book your place now on our WWUK Carpet Day on Saturday, 29th March 2025 at ‘The Bridges’ @ The Arches, Richmond Bridge, Richmond Road, Twickenham TW1 2 EF, where you will be guided by Facilitators and Facilitators-in-Training, supported by a circle of women.

– The Intention –

Many of you will know that the role of the Facilitators and Facilitators in Training (FiTs) is primarily to work with the participants on the Woman Within Weekend. It can take many years to progress through the different levels to become a Facilitator. This progression is often slow and can be extremely challenging, learning all the nuances and procedures required to keep the participants safe and metaphorically held throughout the Weekend.

The aim of the FiT Training Day is to support FiTs in their growth, to focus on one aspect of the Weekend (the carpet work) so that the FiTs can gain clarity, experience different processes, be able to ask questions and be guided without the time pressure that is often felt on the Weekend.

As a participant, you will have the opportunity to reflect on where you are and what is getting in the way of you being where you would like to be in your life, then bring this to this March workshop where you will be guided by the Facilitation Team.

How often we hear from women that there are not enough opportunities to be together in person, to sit in a confidential space, to be heard and seen.

This is such an event—and you will also be supporting WWUK. By taking that step on the carpet, you gift the FiTs the much-needed time to hone skills and boost confidence, which is an investment in our community and what we offer women.

This is also a wonderful opportunity to learn more about staffing and for those interested in applying for the FiT track to gain more experience and understanding of how processes work

– The Cost –

The cost of the day will be £40. Once your registration has been received and your place allocated, we will email you options for paying the cost. This is a non-profit event so all money collected will pay for the venue/running costs.

  • Prior Training

  • This 'Carpet Day' is only open to women who have previously completed the Woman Within Weekend. Please confirm that you have completed this training.
  • If you choose to tick this box we will hold your details in our database and keep you informed of events in the Community. Your details will not be given to any third parties.

  • Payment

  • The cost of attending is £40 which is non-refundable. This is a non-profit event so all money collected will cover our costs. Once your place is confirmed, we will send you payment details.     Payment and Confirmation

    Full non-refundable payment is required in order to secure your place on this training. You should receive an email confirmation once you have booked, followed by an email with paying instructions once your place is confirmed.

    Request for invoices should be made in writing if the payment is to be made by anyone other than the participant

    Payment must be made in pounds Sterling or Euro through the website secure payment system or to the bank account shown on the registration form

    Cancellations and Amendments

    All requests for cancellations and/or transfers must be received in writing.

    The appropriate cancellation charge will apply based on the cost of your booking, as shown below.
    *excluding extenuating circumstances which will be charged at Woman Within UK’s discretion. With the following number of calendar days’ notice before the start date of the course, the applicable refund will be available.
    30 calendar days or more ~ 50% refund minus the Deposit
    Less than 30 calendar days (inclusive) ~ No refund will be given
    Failure to attend ~ Treated as late cancellation and no refund is given
    Fees may be transferable to another participant prior to the event, at the discretion of the registrar, please contact them in writing to make your request.
    Fees for our Carpet Day may not be transferred to other Women Within Training or Events
