Join us at Silver Sky Festival 2024
A glorious weekend of workshops, drumming, dancing and so much more.
Festival-goers from Woman Within, The ManKind Project, abandofbrothers, Women in Power, Celebration of Being and other brother/sister organisations will connect in celebratory space. If you’re not in these communities, you are very welcome too!
We will dance beneath stars to our Silver Sky band and encircle bonfires with song, ritual and spoken word. The theme is joy!
We will also be marking the 30th Anniversary of MKP UK & Ireland over this jam-packed weekend so yet another reason to celebrate together.
Come join the party!
What’s on offer at Silver Sky Festival?
Silver Sky 2022 offered over 60 workshops plus music, dancing, poetry, art and everything in between for all the women, men and children gathered together over the weekend.
Silver Sky 2024 offers even more next July as the event expands across a new 100-acre site with both indoor and outdoor spaces, stretch/bell tents and woods, where sweat lodges will be held.
Workshops will include: Shadow Work, Co-Gender Circles, yoga, Family Constellations, breathwork, exploration of archetypes and a long list of others. If you are interested in holding a workshop, contact silverskyfestival@gmail.com.
Follow Silver Sky Festival on Facebook for workshop details and festival updates leading up to the event.
Where is the festival and where do I sleep?
This magical summer celebration is set on the grounds of Gaveston Hall in Nuthurst near Horsham in West Sussex RH13 6RG.
- Choose to book an indoor room, sleep adjacent to woodland in your tent or book a luxury glamping tent.
- We also welcome camper vans or you can book local accommodation and attend with a weekend ticket only.
- Day tickets are also available, for those who cannot attend the full event.
When do I arrive and what’s on?
Silver Sky Festival‘s opening ceremony launches at 6pm on Friday, 19th July 2024.
Attendees can arrive at Gaveston Hall from 2pm to set up tents, meet & greet others, walk the grounds and relax before festivities begin.
- Friday evening’s music and drumming will raise the energy around our bonfire circle.
- Workshops delivered by men and women run all day Saturday and Sunday. These are bookable when you arrive to Gaveston Hall and are included in your festival ticket.
- Under the expansive stretch tent, musicians from our communities take to the stage after dinner–the dance floor is then all yours! You are welcome to bring your own food/drink to Silver Sky or purchase from our catering vans.
- You are also invited to bring your art/creations/merchandise to display/sell and please bring business cards/flyers to share with others about the work you are passionate about.
- Our closing ceremony begins at 3pm Sunday.
A Festival Guide, outlining all details of the festival will be emailed to everyone in the week before the event.
Do I book festival tickets and accommodation separately?
Silver Sky offers both indoor accommodation and camping on the grounds of Gaveston Hall. Book tickets here.

- The price of indoor accommodation and tent/campervan pitches do not include the weekend tickets. These must be paid for as a separate charge on our ticketing site.

- Want to arrive at the venue with your tent set up then taken down for you? Want to sleep in total comfort? We also offer luxury glamping, which includes bedding…… email us for more information.
- If you wish to sleep offsite in nearby B&Bs/hotels, you can purchase a weekend event ticket only.
Is this festival suitable for families?
Children are very welcome!
An engaging children’s area with arts/crafts/games will be incorporated into Silver Sky. There will be supervision at various times during the weekend, should parents want to attend workshops, but this will not be offered for the whole of the festival. We encourage families to spend time together and there will be some workshop activities that children can take part in with adults.
Can I play music, perform spoken word, share my talent?
Yes! This is a weekend where we invite you to shine!
If you have a talent for singing, playing an instrument, writing and performing poetry, then we want to hear from you. Is Slam Poetry your thing? Get in touch. Are you passionate about drumming? Drop us an email.
Or perhaps you’re an artist or a creator of crafts, of instruments, of imagery. Then bring your art, your crafts and/or your goods to sell at Silver Sky. We will have a designated Art Space open for people to peruse or you may want to create a stall all your own.
Silver Sky was created to be inclusive of everyone, a weekend where the stage is set and you are invited to walk onto it and share your talent. We hope this encourages people to share their gifts with others, even if it’s new to you or you have to face a few fears to stroll across the stage. Take your place at this festival!
If you are interested in contributing to the sounds and visuals of this special event, or perhaps you would like to offer a workshop, send ideas to silverskyfestival@gmail.com.
Bring my own food?
Silver Sky is a self-catering weekend where guests can choose to purchase food and drink from our onsite catering carts and/or bring their own provisions.
We will have limited kitchen space where fridge and other food prep needs will be available.
Catering carts will serve options for breakfast, lunch and dinner (and times in between), which include vegan/non-vegan, gluten-free and plant-based options, and outlets for purchasing drinks.
Bring anything else?
- A drum, rattle or instrument, if you want to join in the music-making.
- Please bring food/drink and your camping supplies. If you have booked indoor accommodation, sheets can be hired for the weekend. Don’t forget your towel!
- July can be gloriously sunny but also unpredictable so pack warm/wet weather clothing and footwear.
- Also, you may wish to bring a water-bottle, notebook, torch, hat, comfy clothes, camping chair or any other items you feel would bring comfort and enrichment to your weekend experience.
- We will also provide space for attendees to share business cards/flyers if they wish to liaise professionally with others so, if you have such biz info, please pack that too.
Made a booking but have not heard from the festival team?
- Once you make your booking, you will receive an email with your ticket(s) attached.
- You will be asked to show your QR code when you arrive to Gaveston Hall.
- If you have any issues with ticketing or have a question about booking, get in touch.
- A festival information pack, including a detailed list of workshops being offered, will be emailed before the event.
